Here's a look at the Arbor, while it was still intact. 


This is the set-up for our candle ceremony, and the family heirloom tablecloth which was set afire when the wind blew the flames from the oil lamp across it.


Here we are, just approaching the arbor (by this time, the wind had already blown it over once, but thanks to the fact that my Opa-in-law had reinforced it, it was still more or less intact.


Between the airplanes and the wind, nobody had a clue what was being said here.


                      Here's Evelyn struggling with my wife's bouquet, which weighed more than all three of us put together.

I'm not sure, but I think at this point Oma was getting sick at the thought of her daughter marrying me!


By using my fingers as kindling, I was able to keep the candles lit against the wind.  Fortunately, the smell of burning flesh didn't seem to bother anyone.
